Víctor Guerrero, CEO of Gigas, analyzes the company's direction at a crucial moment marked by diversification into cloud infrastructure services and a focus on organic growth, without ruling out strategic opportunities. This new approach received support from Inveready, which invested 7.5 million euros at the end of 2025 through a convertible bond issuance with a five-year term.
Upon joining in March 2025, Guerrero found a company with a strong technical team but room for improvement in commercial strategy and customer-oriented innovation. Therefore, he renewed the management team, bringing in leaders in key areas such as strategy, human resources, finance, and sales. Gigas stands out in cloud services, with a client portfolio that includes multinationals and national operators, and a presence in competitive markets like Colombia, Mexico, and Portugal.
The company now seeks to take a step further, particularly supporting medium-sized businesses in their transition to the cloud, digitalization, artificial intelligence, and security. While large companies negotiate directly with giants like Google or Microsoft, Gigas positions itself as a strategic partner for the mid-market segment.
Over the past year, Gigas has launched new services, including pilots in Spain and Latin America, and has strengthened its security offering with a differentiated SOC. Additionally, it has expanded its catalog with backup solutions and, since September 2025, a disaster recovery service on Google, aimed at companies requiring alternative platforms for regulatory reasons.
Regulation, in fact, opens opportunities for Gigas, as many medium and large companies operating in the cloud of major providers need, by law, an alternative provider for disaster recovery, a role that Gigas can fulfill.
In the field of artificial intelligence, Gigas is working on practical solutions to democratize its use. Many medium-sized companies recognize the value of AI but do not know how to apply it or cannot afford the costs of major providers. For this segment, Gigas offers a business knowledge management tool that integrates regulations and regulatory updates, allowing employees and clients to access relevant information through natural language. This solution facilitates the integration of new employees and commercial management and is being implemented in the cloud for SAP Business One in Latin America.
Inveready's investment represents a key endorsement of Gigas's strategy, with the possibility that the fund could reach up to 30% of the capital after the conversion of the bonds. Regarding its evolution in BME Growth, the company prioritizes organic growth and value addition for clients, without focusing on corporate operations.
As a sovereign cloud provider, Gigas advocates for the importance of keeping AI data within national territory and protected, warning about the risks of sharing sensitive information on unsecured platforms and U.S. legislation that may compromise the privacy of European data. In addition to preparing technically, the company works to raise awareness among the administration about the relevance of these aspects.
