The company behind ChatGPT is in negotiations to establish a joint venture with private equity firms such as TPG, Brookfield, and Bain, aiming to accelerate the adoption of its AI technology, according to Bloomberg. Sources close to the process, who requested anonymity due to the confidential nature of the information, indicate that the new company could reach a pre-investment valuation of about $10 billion, with an estimated private equity contribution of $4 billion. TPG, Brookfield, and Bain have not made any statements regarding this. Meanwhile, Fidji Simo, CEO of applications at OpenAI, shared on social media that the initiative aims to create an implementation arm for its technology, although she avoided referring to details about partners, funding, or valuation.
