In an interview with the Financial Times, Suleyman predicted that AI-driven automation will transform most office, management, and administrative jobs in the next 12 to 18 months. According to Suleyman, AI will be capable of performing most professional tasks done at a computer, from legal and accounting work to project management and marketing. "Most of those tasks will be completely automated by AI in the next year or year and a half," he said. The executive noted that this change is already evident in software engineering, where AI-assisted coding has become the norm for most developers. "The relationship with technology has changed radically in the last six months," he added. The accelerated advancement of AI in recent years has led to tangible transformations in office work. Dario Amodei, CEO of Anthropic, has indicated that AI could eliminate half of entry-level office jobs.
