Nvidia has taken a revolutionary step in the field of artificial intelligence by introducing its Vera Rubin platform, designed to usher in a new era of AI with intelligent agents. This solution integrates seven new chips, currently in production, that will enhance the largest AI infrastructures globally. The Vera Rubin platform combines the NVIDIA Vera CPU, the NVIDIA Rubin GPU, the NVLink 6 switch, the SuperNIC ConnectX-9, the BlueField-4 DPU, the Spectrum-6 Ethernet switch, and the Groq 3 LPU. Together, these components form an AI supercomputer capable of managing all stages of artificial intelligence development: from massive pre-training and fine-tuning to real-time inference and scalability of agents. Vera Rubin democratizes access to AI by offering Nvidia's largest pod platform, allowing multiple racks to function as a single integrated system. Thanks to its advanced architecture, it significantly reduces training times, doubles energy and processing efficiency, and sets a new standard in accelerated computing. According to Nvidia, Vera Rubin also optimizes data traffic, increases system resilience, and allows for up to 30% more AI infrastructure to be deployed in data centers with fixed energy consumption. Additionally, it provides low-latency, high-performance connectivity between racks, facilitating large-scale operations. Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, emphasized that Vera Rubin represents "a generational leap" in the evolution of AI, marking the beginning of the largest deployment of technological infrastructure in history. Products based on Vera Rubin will be available in the second half of the year through partners such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, as well as CoreWeave, Crusoe, Lambda, Nebius, Nscale, and Together AI. Manufacturers like Cisco, Dell, HPE, Lenovo, and Supermicro, along with companies like ASUS, Foxconn, GIGABYTE, Inventec, Pegatron, Quanta Cloud Technology, Wistron, and Wiwynn, will also offer servers based on this technology. Leading AI companies such as Anthropic, Meta, Mistral AI, and OpenAI are already planning to use Vera Rubin to train even more advanced models.
