Canva has launched Canva AI 2.0, a revolutionary update that places artificial intelligence at the center of its design platform. This new version transforms the user experience, making design creation more intuitive, automated, and personalized.
Since its launch in 2013, Canva has not undergone such a significant change. Now, users can simply describe what they want, and the AI generates an initial proposal, eliminating the need to start from a template or a blank page. This is made possible by AI models specifically developed for the design field, ensuring more accurate and useful results.
Among the new features is conversational interaction: the AI acts as an assistant that not only responds to instructions but also organizes tasks, suggests actions, and autonomously combines tools. Additionally, object editing allows users to modify specific elements of the design, such as images or text, without altering the rest of the project. The AI's persistent memory remembers user preferences and styles, facilitating a more efficient workflow.
Canva AI 2.0 also enhances team collaboration by integrating services like Drive, Gmail, or Slack, and allowing task automation. The AI can search for information on the internet and incorporate it directly into projects. Another new feature is Canva Code 2.0, which simplifies the creation of interactive web content with HTML, smart spreadsheets, and new templates.
Finally, Canva has announced a partnership with Anthropic to integrate Claude's technology, allowing users to import and edit content from tools like ChatGPT directly within the platform.
